Key Responsibilities :

- Define and own the enterprise architecture strategy for large-scale web and digital applications.
- Establish architectural principles, technology standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices across multiple development teams.
- Architect highly scalable, resilient, secure, and high-performance web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Provide strategic technical leadership to multiple development squads and engineering teams.
- Define common frontend architecture frameworks, reusable components, libraries, and engineering standards.
- Drive architectural consistency and standardization across products and technology platforms.
- Evaluate existing application architecture and define modernization, transformation, and migration strategies.
- Lead architecture decisions for complex and high-impact technology initiatives.
- Review and approve solution architectures, technical designs, technology selections, and major engineering deliverables.
- Define strategies to improve application scalability, performance, reliability, maintainability, and security.
- Establish enterprise-wide standards for code quality, testing, automation, observability, and technical governance.
- Drive adoption of automated testing, unit testing, code reviews, quality gates, and engineering best practices.
- Identify systemic technical risks, architecture gaps, scalability constraints, and technology debt.
- Define and execute strategies to address technical debt and improve long-term platform sustainability.
- Lead complex technical troubleshooting, debugging, root cause analysis, and resolution of critical issues.
- Establish application performance and reliability engineering practices.
- Work closely with engineering leadership, product leadership, enterprise architects, UX teams, backend teams, DevOps, security, and business stakeholders.
- Provide architectural guidance for frontend-backend integration and API-driven application ecosystems.




- Evaluate emerging technologies and determine their suitability for enterprise adoption.
- Lead proof-of-concepts and technical evaluations for strategic technology initiatives.
- Develop technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and long-term enterprise strategy.
- Mentor and coach architects, technical leads, and senior engineers.
- Establish an architecture governance framework and ensure adherence across development teams.
- Represent the technology organization in senior stakeholder and client discussions.

Technical Expertise :

- Deep hands-on expertise in React.js.
- Advanced knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Strong expertise in HTML5 and CSS.
- Extensive experience designing modern enterprise web application architectures.
- Strong understanding of reusable component architecture and frontend design systems.
- Deep knowledge of frontend performance, scalability, and reliability engineering.
- Strong understanding of application integration and REST/API-based architectures.
- Strong experience with automated testing and software quality practices.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture principles, and engineering standards.
- Strong knowledge of source control, branching strategies, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.

Enterprise Architecture :

- Experience defining architecture for large-scale, distributed applications.
- Robust understanding of scalability, availability, resilience, security, and performance.
- Experience with architecture governance and technical decision-making.
- Ability to evaluate build-versus-buy decisions and technology alternatives.




- Experience defining enterprise technology roadmaps and modernization strategies.
- Ability to establish reusable architecture patterns across multiple products.
- Strong understanding of technical debt management and long-term platform sustainability.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management :

- Provide technical direction across multiple engineering teams.
- Influence senior technology and business stakeholders on architectural decisions.
- Drive alignment between product, engineering, architecture, security, infrastructure, and business teams.
- Mentor architects and senior technical professionals.
- Establish engineering communities and promote knowledge sharing.
- Lead architecture reviews and strategic technology forums.
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Good to Have :

- Strong experience across the MERN ecosystem, including Node.js.
- Experience with microservices and distributed application architectures.
- Exposure to cloud-native application architecture.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, containers, and automated deployment.
- Knowledge of application security and enterprise security architecture.
- Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, and performance engineering.
- Experience leading large-scale digital transformation or modernization programs.
