Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated IT, Security, DevOps & Project Management Administrator with around 2+ years of experience to support UniSouk's internal IT operations and cybersecurity activities, assist with AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD workflows, and own the coordination and tracking of projects across the technology and operations teams.

This role suits someone who combines hands-on IT administration and security operations with light DevOps support and strong organisational skills — keeping systems secure and running, supporting deployment pipelines, and keeping projects on schedule using Zoho Projects. It is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who can balance technical support with cross-functional project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

IT & Systems Administration

- Manage day-to-day IT support, user onboarding/offboarding, hardware, software licences, and access provisioning across Google Workspace / Office 365.
- Administer and maintain endpoints, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN), and AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC,



CloudWatch, RDS).
- Maintain IT asset inventory, documentation, and SOPs; troubleshoot and escalate complex issues as required.

Security Operations

- Implement and monitor security best practices — MFA, SSO, endpoint protection, antivirus, and DLP/EDR tooling.
- Support monitoring and incident response using SIEM and related tools; maintain access controls and data-protection hygiene.
- Assist with security audits, policy compliance, and periodic access reviews.

DevOps Support

- Assist with CI/CD workflows using Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions — supporting builds, deployments, and version control hygiene.
- Help maintain cloud infrastructure reliability, monitoring, backups, and basic automation scripts.
- Coordinate with the development team on release schedules and environment management.

Project Management

- Own project planning, tracking, and reporting in Zoho Projects — creating tasks, milestones, timelines, and dashboards.
- Coordinate across technology, product, and operations teams to ensure deliverables stay on schedule and dependencies are managed.
- Track progress against plans, flag risks and delays early, and maintain clear status reporting to management.
- Standardise workflows, templates,



and documentation within Zoho Projects to improve team productivity and accountability.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred.
- Around 2+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, security operations, DevOps support, or a combined IT/project coordination role.
- Intermediate to expert understanding of:
- Linux / Windows / macOS operating systems
- Google Workspace / Office 365
- Networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN
- AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, RDS
- Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions
- SIEM, SSO, endpoint security, MFA, antivirus, DLP or EDR tools
- Hands-on experience with a project management tool — experience with Zoho Projects strongly preferred (or a comparable tool such as Jira, Asana, or ClickUp, with willingness to move to Zoho Projects).
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn advanced IT administration, cybersecurity, DevOps, and project management practices.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should have practical hands-on experience, not just theoretical knowledge. They should be able to independently handle routine IT support, assist with AWS and GitHub Actions workflows, apply security best practices, and drive projects to completion through disciplined tracking in Zoho Projects — coordinating stakeholders, keeping timelines visible, and escalating complex issues when required.
