Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Information Technology Officer role based in Ahmedabad.

The Information Technology

Officer will manage day-to-day IT operations, including monitoring and maintaining computer systems, networks, and peripheral devices across the organization.

Responsibilities include providing technical support to employees, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring systems and applications run securely and efficiently. The role involves configuring and administering network devices and servers, overseeing system backups, and implementing updates and patches.

The Information Technology





Officer will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, maintain IT documentation, support IT-related compliance requirements, and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and performance of the company’s IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Information Technology fundamentals and practical experience in corporate IT environments.
- Candidates should possess troubleshooting and technical support skills for hardware, software, and user issues.
- Candidates should possess network administration skills, including basic configuration, monitoring, and security of network devices.
- Candidates should possess system administration skills for operating systems, servers, user accounts, backups, and updates.
- Candidates should possess clear communication skills, the ability to document processes, and a customer-focused approach to internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess the ability to prioritize tasks, work independently on-site, and coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, Cisco) are an advantage.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or manufacturing environments and familiarity with IT security and compliance standards will be beneficial.
