Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, data-driven, and people-centric HRBP Specialist to join our growing HR team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to mid-level managers and specific business units, aligning human resources strategies with overall business objectives. With 3 to 5 years of experience, you are ready to move beyond transactional HR.
You will actively participate in talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong emotional intelligence, and can balance employee advocacy with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnering
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for assigned business units, understanding their operational goals and talent needs.
- Consult with line managers to provide daily HR guidance, helping them resolve team challenges and improve productivity.
- Analyze HR trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies that support business growth.
Talent & Performance Management
- Guide managers and employees through the annual and mid-year performance review cycles.
- Assist in identifying high-potential talent and driving succession planning initiatives within your business units.
- Support managers in creating actionable Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) when necessary.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Manage and resolve moderate to complex employee relations issues by conducting thorough, objective investigations.
- Champion a positive workplace culture by designing and executing localized employee engagement initiatives.
- Serve as a neutral advocate for employees, ensuring fair treatment, transparency, and adherence to company values.
Onboarding, Retention, & Offboarding
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure smooth onboarding experiences and accelerate time-to-productivity for new hires.
- Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews, analyzing data to identify turnover trends and recommend retention strategies.
- Oversee the offboarding process, ensuring compliance and a respectful exit experience.
Compliance & HR Operations
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of local labor laws and legal requirements to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with specialized HR centers of excellence (Comp & Benefits, L&D;, Operations) to deliver seamless HR services.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in HR, with at least 1–2 years specifically in an HRBP, HR Generalist, or closely related client-facing role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. An MBA or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust with stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Problem-Solving: Strong conflict-resolution and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of handling sensitive employee relations issues.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data, spot trends, and use HR metrics to inform decision-making.
- Tools: Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, SuccessFactors) and standard office productivity suites (Microsoft Office / Google Workspace).
