About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Hospital Night Manager to oversee the smooth and safe operation of the hospital during night hours. The successful candidate will provide leadership to clinical and non-clinical teams, coordinate patient-care operations, manage urgent situations, and ensure hospital policies, safety standards, and service-quality expectations are maintained throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee overall hospital operations during the night shift.
- Provide leadership and support to nursing, medical, administrative, security, housekeeping, and other on-duty teams.
- Coordinate the response to emergencies, incidents, patient complaints, and operational issues.
- Ensure appropriate staffing and effective allocation of resources.
- Support patient flow, admissions, discharges, transfers, and bed management.
- Liaise with physicians, nursing leadership, emergency services, and other departments as required.
- Monitor patient safety, infection-control practices, security, and hospital policies.
- Handle escalated concerns from patients, families, visitors, and staff professionally.
- Ensure accurate documentation and completion of night-shift reports.




- Conduct regular rounds and identify operational or safety concerns.
- Take appropriate action during emergencies and escalate issues to senior management when necessary.
- Ensure the hospital is fully prepared for the morning shift handover.
- Promote a professional, respectful, and patient-centered workplace.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Hospital Management, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in hospital management, nursing leadership, healthcare operations, or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of hospital procedures, patient safety, and healthcare regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during overnight hours.
- Proficiency with hospital information systems and standard computer applications.
