About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our team in Australia. The successful candidate will work with large and complex datasets to develop analytical solutions, machine learning models, and data-driven insights that support business and operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and deploy statistical and machine learning models.
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Build predictive models and data-driven solutions for business problems.
- Perform data cleaning, pre processing, validation, and feature engineering.
- Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Monitor model performance and improve solutions based on business requirements.
- Maintain clear documentation of models, methodologies, and analytical processes.
- Contribute to data science best practices, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience
- Relevant experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field .
- Strong experience with Python or R .
- Knowledge of SQL and working with databases.




- Practical experience with machine learning and statistical modelling.
- Understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Matplotlib, or similar .
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Desirable Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud .
- Familiarity with deep learning, NLP, generative AI, or advanced analytics.
- Experience working with big-data technologies or production machine learning environments.
- Knowledge of MLOps and model deployment practices.
