Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with hands-on experience in Water & Wastewater Treatment (WWT) projects. The candidate should have expertise in electrical design, documentation, regulatory compliance, and testing & commissioning of electrical systems for WWT plants.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), instrument schedules, and control philosophies.
- Perform power and control cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, load balancing, and cable tray layouts.
- Plan and design LV/MV electrical systems, including MCCs, transformers, and fire alarm systems.
- Prepare material submittals and provide inputs for shop drawings.
- Prepare method statements, risk assessments,



testing & commissioning procedures, and O&M; manuals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant electrical regulations and design standards.
- Incorporate energy-efficient systems such as VFDs and Soft Starters in motor control systems.
- Support electrical testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.

Requirements

- Minimum 5+ years of experience specifically in Water & Wastewater Treatment projects.
- B.E. in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
- Strong experience in electrical design for WWT plants, including:
- SLD preparation

- Cable sizing and layouts

- MCC and transformer planning

- Hands-on experience in submittals, method statements, risk assessments, and O&M; manuals.
- Experience in testing and commissioning, not limited to design activities.
- Knowledge of VFDs, Soft Starters, and regulatory compliance for electrical systems.
