Led by Dr. Puneet (BAMS, DU), a fifth-generation Ayurvedic practitioner recognized nationally for excellence in kidney care, Karma Ayurveda is known for its proven, natural treatment approaches and high standards of clinical practice.

Role Description The Health Counselor will work full time on-site at the Karma Ayurveda facility in Model Town, supporting patients through personalized health counseling rooted in Ayurvedic principles.

Responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, explaining treatment plans, and guiding patients on lifestyle, nutrition, and wellness practices aligned with their prescribed therapies. The role involves ongoing patient follow-up, maintaining accurate and confidential health records, and collaborating closely with doctors, therapists, and support staff to ensure coordinated, compassionate care.





The Health

Counselor will also help educate patients and families about prevention, long-term health management, and the benefits of Ayurvedic approaches, while contributing to a calm, respectful, and supportive clinical environment.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Ayurveda, holistic health, and wellness counseling, with the ability to translate concepts into clear guidance for patients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust, provide empathetic support, and interact effectively with patients, families, and clinical teams.
- Sound clinical judgment, attention to detail, and organizational skills for conducting assessments, documenting care, and managing follow-ups.
- Ability to work on-site in a busy hospital setting, manage multiple cases, and adapt to evolving patient and operational needs.
- Relevant educational background in Ayurveda, healthcare, psychology, counseling, or a related field; professional certifications in counseling or patient education are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a hospital, clinic, or wellness center, especially within Ayurvedic or integrative medicine, is highly beneficial.
- Commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory patient care, respect for diverse backgrounds, and adherence to confidentiality and professional standards.
