This position is responsible for conducting health-based toxicological risk assessments and preparing scientifically sound reports in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and guidelines.
The role involves evaluating potential risks associated with active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), intermediates, impurities and other relevant substances through review of scientific literature, toxicological data and applicable regulatory guidelines.
The role is ideal for a detail-oriented and highly motivated professional with a strong academic background and an interest in toxicology and risk evaluation.
Preferred candidate profile
Masters degree (M.Sc., M.Pharm, or equivalent) or Ph.D. in Toxicology, Pharmacology,
Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related discipline.
05 years of experience in toxicological risk assessment, safety evaluation, regulatory writing, scientific research, or a related field. Experience with health-based exposure limits, Permissible Daily Exposure assessments, toxicological literature evaluation or regulatory documentation is preferred. Entry-level candidates with relevant academic knowledge and a solid willingness to learn may also be considered.
