Role Description The Head Programmer is a full time, in office role based in Unnao, responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions that support the company’s accounting and operational processes. This role oversees programming activities, sets technical standards, and guides the development team in building robust back-end systems and tools. Daily responsibilities include analyzing requirements, architecting software components, writing and reviewing code, enforcing best practices in object-oriented programming, and ensuring system performance and security.

The Head

Programmer collaborates with accounting and operations teams to translate business needs into technical specifications, manages timelines, and provides mentorship and technical direction to other developers.



The role also involves troubleshooting production issues, optimizing existing applications, and contributing to long-term technology planning.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) with experience in one or more modern languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python).
- Hands-on experience in Software Development, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Practical expertise in Back-End Web Development, working with databases, APIs, and server-side frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead development teams, provide technical mentorship, and manage software projects from concept to delivery.
- Familiarity with version control systems, code review practices, and secure coding standards.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to understand and prioritize business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced certifications or postgraduate studies are an advantage.
- Experience in building or supporting software for accounting, finance, or enterprise operations is beneficial.
