? About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Head of Internal Audit to lead the internal audit function and strengthen our organization’s risk management, internal controls, regulatory compliance, governance, and fraud prevention framework.

? Key Responsibilities• Lead risk-based internal audits across Credit, Underwriting, Treasury, Risk, Branch Operations, Collections, IT/IS, HR, Legal and Compliance.

- Develop and execute a comprehensive annual Internal Audit Plan aligned with business and regulatory risks.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, processes, governance and risk management systems.
- Ensure adherence to RBI regulations, KYC/AML requirements, Companies Act and applicable financial regulations.
- Lead fraud risk management, forensic reviews, surprise branch audits, cash/vault audits and fraud investigations.
- Identify control gaps, process weaknesses and emerging risks, and recommend practical corrective actions.
- Monitor audit observations, action plans and closure of critical findings within defined timelines.




- Prepare and present transparent, independent and actionable audit reports to the Audit Committee and senior management.
- Build, mentor and manage a high-performing internal audit team.

✅ What We're Looking For✔ Strong experience in Internal Audit / Risk / Compliance within NBFC or Financial Services

✔ In-depth understanding of RBI regulations, KYC/AML, lending operations and financial controls

✔ Strong expertise in risk-based audit, internal controls and fraud risk management

✔ Ability to independently lead audits across multiple functions and branches

✔ Excellent analytical, reporting, communication and stakeholder-management skills

✔ Strong leadership capability with a high level of integrity, independence and professional judgment
