Role Description Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Integration Lead Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex integration solutions within Guidewire PolicyCenter. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Guidewire integrations, technical architecture, team leadership, and the Property & Casualty (P&C;) insurance domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of integration solutions for Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Design and develop inbound and outbound integrations between PolicyCenter and external applications using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, Messaging Frameworks, and batch/file-based integrations.
- Work closely with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, QA teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Lead and mentor a team of Guidewire developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to Guidewire development standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain integrations using Gosu, Java, XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, and Guidewire integration frameworks.
- Design integration architecture, data mappings, error-handling mechanisms, and monitoring solutions.
- Work with Guidewire Cloud integration technologies, APIs, event-driven integrations, and messaging patterns where applicable.
- Integrate PolicyCenter with systems such as ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, document management systems, payment systems, third-party vendors, and legacy applications.
- Troubleshoot complex integration, performance, and production issues and provide effective resolutions.
- Participate in effort estimation, sprint planning, technical discussions, release planning, and deployment activities.
- Ensure integration solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Support SIT, UAT, production deployment, and post-production activities.
Mandatory Skills
- 8+ years of overall IT experience with strong experience in Guidewire.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter Integration.
- Strong expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter Integration Framework.
- Hands-on experience with Gosu programming.
- Strong experience in RESTful APIs and SOAP Web Services.
- Experience with Guidewire Messaging Framework, asynchronous messaging, and batch integrations.
- Strong knowledge of XML and JSON.
- Experience integrating PolicyCenter with external and third-party applications.
- Knowledge of Java/J2EE concepts and Object-Oriented Programming.
- Experience with Guidewire Studio and InsuranceSuite architecture.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, error handling, logging, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Strong experience in team leadership, code reviews, estimation, and mentoring.
Positive to Have
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Integration Gateway, Cloud APIs, App Events, or event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of APD (Advanced Product Designer) and Guidewire Rating.
- Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Experience with message queues and enterprise integration patterns.
- Guidewire PolicyCenter or Integration certification.
- Strong knowledge of the Property & Casualty (P&C;) Insurance domain.
- Experience in Guidewire implementation, migration, upgrade, or cloud transformation projects.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- The ideal candidate should be a strong hands-on technical leader with proven experience in leading Guidewire PolicyCenter integration workstreams, designing scalable integration solutions, mentoring developers, and working closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality insurance solutions.
