About the role

Namma Global Careers helps qualified Indian healthcare professionals, including nurses and physiotherapists, build their careers in Germany. German language training is the foundation of that pathway, since our candidates must reach the level required by German employers and licensing authorities before they can be placed.

We are looking for German Language Trainers to teach our candidate batches. Classes are conducted online, with some batches held in person at locations across Tamil Nadu.

Responsibilities

- Teach German language classes to healthcare professionals preparing to work in Germany
- Conduct classes at A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels, according to your own certified level
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, practice tests and revision material for each batch
- Focus teaching on the four exam skills of reading, listening, writing and speaking
- Conduct regular speaking practice and mock exams so learners are prepared for the actual test format
- Track attendance and progress for every learner and flag those falling behind
- Introduce healthcare and workplace vocabulary relevant to hospital and nursing settings in Germany
- Guide learners on exam registration requirements and what to expect on exam day
- Keep classes to the agreed schedule and batch timetable

Requirements
- A recognised German language certificate at B1, B2 or C1 level, such as Goethe-Institut, telc, ÖSD or equivalent




- Trainers certified at B1 may teach A1 level. Trainers certified at B2 may teach up to A2 and B1. Trainers certified at C1 may teach up to B2
- Ability to teach clearly in German alongside Tamil or English, so that beginners can follow
- Confident teaching online, using video calls and screen sharing
- A stable internet connection and a working laptop or desktop with a webcam and headset
- Willing to travel occasionally within Tamil Nadu for in person batches
- Valuable planning skills to keep a batch on schedule across a full course
- Prior teaching or training experience is preferred but not essential
- Experience preparing learners for Goethe or telc examinations is an advantage
- Candidates who have studied, worked or lived in Germany are welcome to apply

Pay: ₹25,413.47 - ₹70,257.94 per month
