Role Description The General Physician will provide comprehensive clinical care to individuals attending NURA’s screening center in Kozhikode, interpreting screening results and guiding patients on follow-up diagnostics, treatments, and lifestyle modifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed medical histories and physical examinations, reviewing AI-enabled imaging and lab reports, communicating findings clearly, and collaborating with nursing and technical staff to ensure a smooth patient journey. The physician will participate in clinical decision-making, contribute to protocols for preventive health and chronic disease management, and support patient counseling on risk reduction.





Additional duties may include involvement in quality improvement initiatives, documentation in electronic medical records, and participation in internal training and case discussions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage common acute and chronic conditions across diverse patient populations.
- Background in Family Medicine or general practice, with experience in holistic, preventive, and continuity-of-care approaches.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Experience in Training, mentoring, or guiding clinical and allied health personnel in protocols, patient communication, and safety standards.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution and valid registration with relevant medical council or licensing body.
- Clinical experience in outpatient or preventive health settings; prior work in screening, diagnostic centers, or lifestyle disease management is an advantage.
- Proficiency in using digital health records and comfort working with technology-driven diagnostic tools and AI-enabled systems.
