Role Description The General Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring service quality, and driving business growth for Truck Sathi. This role includes managing branch activities, coordinating GPS, FASTag, and insurance service delivery, and optimizing operational processes to improve customer experience and profitability.

The General

Manager will lead and mentor cross-functional teams, set performance goals, monitor KPIs, and implement strategies for sales, marketing, and customer retention. They will handle key client relationships, address escalations, coordinate with vendors and partners, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.



The role also involves budgeting, forecasting, reporting to senior leadership, and identifying new market opportunities in the transport and logistics sector.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in transport, logistics, automotive, or related service industries.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities, including team supervision, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Solid business acumen with skills in planning, budgeting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in sales and customer relationship management, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client partnerships.
- Familiarity with GPS tracking, fleet management solutions, FASTag services, or insurance products is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Comfort with technology and digital tools for reporting, CRM, and operational monitoring.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad and manage a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English and at least one regional language (such as Hindi or Gujarati) to support effective communication with customers and teams.
