Lead General Ledger Accountant responsible for end‑to‑end US R2R processes, month‑end close, balance‑sheet reconciliation, fixed assets, sales tax, and payroll reporting while supporting a US night‑shift schedule.

Responsibilities

- Execute full‑cycle US accounting, including month‑end close, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance‑sheet schedules, and US payroll reports.
- Manage fixed‑asset accounting, depreciation, and sales‑tax compliance.
- Perform large‑scale data analysis across multiple sources and recommend corrective actions.
- Drive end‑to‑end Record‑to‑Report (R2R) activities and ensure timely delivery of reports.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to resolve accounting issues and close gaps.
- Maintain and update US GL documentation, policies, and procedures.

Requirements





- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 8+ years of full‑cycle US GL experience (minimum 10 years overall).
- Proven expertise in month‑end reconciliation, accruals, and US payroll.
- Advanced Excel skills including PowerPivot, Power Query, lookups, and pivots.
- Solid communication and time‑management abilities.
- Self‑directed with capability to prioritize multiple tasks and drive issues to closure.
- Experience with SAP (or Vision/Sage Fixed Assets) and QuickBooks.

Nice to have

- Hands‑on experience with Vision or Sage Fixed Assets.
- Familiarity with US sales‑tax reporting.
- Experience using Power BI or similar data‑visualization tools.
