Position: Senior GenAI Technical Lead

Location: Kochi & Hyderabad

We are looking for an experienced Senior GenAI Technical Lead with strong hands-on expertise in designing and delivering production-grade Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate should have deep experience in RAG architecture, AI evaluation, prompt engineering, enterprise AI platforms, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the technical solution approach for client-facing and cross-organisational GenAI engagements.
- Design and deliver production/pilot-grade Generative AI solutions with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and quality.
- Architect and optimize document-scale RAG solutions, including chunking, indexing, embeddings, retrieval tuning, reranking, grounding, and source attribution.
- Analyze and troubleshoot retrieval failures and improve overall response quality.
- Design and operate AI evaluation frameworks using golden datasets, rubric-based scoring, LLM-as-a-Judge, human review loops, and regression testing.
- Develop advanced prompt strategies including system/task prompts, few-shot patterns, templates, context management, task decomposition, chaining, and structured outputs.
- Configure and extend existing AI-enabled enterprise applications using their established extension models.
- Work hands-on with enterprise AI platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, GitHub Copilot, Databricks, or equivalent technologies.
- Identify and address GenAI failure modes including hallucinations, non-determinism, prompt drift, context loss, and silent quality degradation.
- Establish engineering practices for maintaining AI solution quality, traceability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the US and Europe and communicate technical decisions clearly.




- Independently own technical outcomes while working in an agile and iterative environment.

Mandatory Skills
- 10+ years of experience in Software, Data, or AI Engineering.
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience delivering production/pilot-grade GenAI solutions.
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead / AI Technical Lead / AI Architect in a client-facing or cross-organisational engagement.
- Strong hands-on experience with RAG architecture and document-scale retrieval systems.
- Strong understanding of:
- Chunking and indexing strategies
- Embeddings
- Retrieval optimization
- Reranking
- Grounding
- Citation/source attribution
- Experience designing GenAI evaluation frameworks and regression processes.
- Strong prompt engineering expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Python or equivalent programming languages.
- Experience with OpenAI / Azure OpenAI / Databricks / GitHub Copilot or comparable enterprise AI platforms.
- Robust understanding of GenAI failure modes and mitigation techniques.
- Strong Git and software engineering practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to independently drive technical decisions and challenge solutions constructively.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI-assisted long-form document authoring, structured content authoring, or evidence synthesis.
- Prior experience in Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology domains.
- Experience in medical writing, regulatory authoring, HEOR, or market access.
- Knowledge of Agentic AI, Knowledge Graphs, and multi-step reasoning architectures.
- Exposure to regulated or GxP-adjacent environments.
- Experience integrating GenAI solutions with SharePoint, Document Management Systems, Smartsheet, Power Automate, or UiPath.
- Experience defining AI engineering standards and practices for a team.
- Exposure to model fine-tuning, distillation, or evaluation-harness tooling.
