Job Title: GeM Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced GeM Specialist to manage our organization's procurement processes through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of GeM operations, procurement rules, and regulations. The GeM Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with GeM guidelines, managing vendor registrations, and facilitating smooth procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

⁠ ⁠- Manage GeM portal and other portal operations, including vendor registration, product listing, and order management.

⁠ ⁠- Ensure compliance with GeM guidelines, procurement rules, and regulations.

⁠ ⁠- Facilitate smooth procurement processes, including tender creation, evaluation, and award management.

⁠ ⁠- Coordinate with vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery.





⁠ ⁠- Analyze and optimize procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

⁠ - ⁠Provide training and support to internal teams on GeM operations and procurement best practices.

⁠ - ⁠Maintain accurate records and reports, including procurement data and vendor performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

⁠ ⁠- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., procurement, supply chain management)

⁠ ⁠- 2+ years of experience in GeM operations, procurement, or a related field

⁠ - ⁠In-depth knowledge of GeM guidelines, procurement rules, and regulations

⁠ ⁠- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

⁠ ⁠- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and meet deadlines

⁠ - ⁠Proficiency in MS Office and GeM portal operations
