Senior Lead Full-Stack Engineer — Java & Angular

Lead the modernization of our core enterprise platforms: migrating from Java 8 / Spring Boot 2.x / JUnit 4 / Angular 7 to Latest, long-term-supported versions — with GenAI tooling (GitHub Copilot, Claude) embedded in the delivery workflow.

What you'll do

- Own the technical roadmap and lead a full-stack team through the migration
- Modernize backend (Java 17+, Spring Boot 4.x) and frontend (Angular 19+)
- Migrate JUnit 4 → 5 and lift automated test coverage
- Use GenAI to accelerate refactoring and test generation — and define where it's trusted

What you'll bring

- 8+ years full-stack, 2+ years leading a team
- Java 8 → 17+ and Spring Boot 2.x → 3.x upgrades, including the Jakarta EE namespace shift
- Angular 7 to latest across legacy and contemporary versions
- JUnit 4 → 5 migration and test automation
- Hands-on GenAI coding tools in production work
- REST APIs, SQL, CI/CD, Git

Nice to have: AWS/Azure, containers, strangler-pattern migrations. Real modernization mandate — not maintenance.
