The Opportunity Alesa Ai is looking for a dedicated, technically proficient Full Stack Developer Intern to join our UK-based team. This is not a "shadowing" role—you will be working 30-40 hours per week on mission-critical projects using a modern stack.

Our goal is simple: We want to train you over the next 6 months to become a permanent, full time member of our development team.

Internship Structure & Compensation This is a 6-month commitment designed as a rigorous, performance-based trial:

- Months 1 – 6: Probation and Training Period (Strictly Unpaid).
- The End Goal: A permanent, paid job offer for candidates who meet our standards of excellence at the conclusion of the 6 months.
- Terms of Retention: Continued participation is strictly dependent on meeting attendance, professional communication, and the timely delivery of high-quality code.

The Tech Stack You will be working across 3 - 5 active projects in a fast-paced environment.

- Frontend: React / Next.js
- Backend: Java and Springboot
- Database: Supabase (PostgreSQL)

Internship Responsibilities

- Developing and maintaining full-stack web applications using Next.js and React.




- Building robust backend logic and APIs using Java and Springboot.
- Designing and managing PostgreSQL databases via Supabase.
- Implementing and integrating AI features, including LLM-based functionality.
- Collaborating with the team in a 30-40-hour-per-week, remote environment.
- Participating in mandatory daily/weekly project meetings and technical sprints.

Applicant Requirements (Must Haves)

- Proficiency in Next.js & React: Ability to build clean, responsive UIs.
- Java & Springboot Backend Skills: Experience writing and maintaining server-side logic.
- Database Management: Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and Supabase integration.
- Commitment: Ability to work 30-40 hours per week (Full-Time) for the full 6-month unpaid duration.
- Professionalism: Independent problem-solving skills and strict adherence to deadlines.
- Communication: English at a conversational/professional level and consistent meeting attendance.
- Tools: Mastery of Git/GitHub for version control.

Bonus Skills

- AI Integration: Familiarity with specific AI integration flows using Groq and Perplexity.
- Data Structures: Experience working with vector databases for AI-driven search and retrieval.
