Role Description The FRP person will be responsible for hands-on fabrication, finishing, and assembly of fiber-reinforced plastic components used in various prototype and production applications. Day-to-day tasks include preparing molds, mixing and applying resins, laying up fiberglass or other composite materials, trimming and finishing parts, and ensuring dimensional and visual quality according to customer specifications. The role also involves maintaining tools and equipment, following safety and environmental guidelines, and collaborating with engineers and technicians to support new product development projects.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Namakkal,



requiring consistent presence on the shop floor and close coordination with the production team.

Qualifications

- Hands-on experience with FRP work, including lay-up, molding, resin handling, and finishing of composite parts.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, ideally in 3D printing, vacuum casting, or related prototyping and production environments.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, and quality standards, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices, including proper use of PPE, handling of chemicals/resins, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
- Good physical stamina, manual dexterity, and ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent quality.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and team members on the production floor.
- Prior experience in composites, FRP, or fabrication workshops is preferred; vocational training or certification in manufacturing or related fields is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn new techniques, adapt to evolving processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives in production.
