Freelance Video Editor

nWe are looking for a Freelance Video Editor to work with our team on content for our brands Unstumbled and Unsobered.

n

nThe role will involve editing content across Instagram and YouTube, primarily focused on food, travel, alcohol, lifestyle and infotainment.

n

nKey Responsibilities:

n

n
- Edit short-form videos, including Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
n
- Edit long-form content for YouTube.
n
- Create engaging edits with strong pacing, storytelling and visual appeal.
n
- Add transitions, text, graphics, sound effects and music as required.
n
- Adapt content to different social media formats and platforms.
n
- Work closely with the content and creative teams to understand the brief and deliver edits within timelines.
n
- Incorporate feedback and make revisions as required.
n
- Stay updated with current social media video trends and editing styles.
n

nRequirements:

n

n
- Prior experience in video editing, preferably for digital/social media content.
n
- Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing and composition.




n
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent.
n
- Good understanding of Instagram and YouTube formats.
n
- Ability to work independently and deliver within agreed timelines.
n
- A solid portfolio/showreel demonstrating relevant work.
n
