About Us:
The Cocoon Universe (TCUverse) is pioneering the world’s first Consciousness-First AGI, built by tracking the organic thought chain of human beings from the time they were in their mother’s womb until the present continuous tense.
We aim to train AI directly on this sequential thought chain to create an extension of one’s own consciousness at the software level — one whose loyalty, commitment, and privacy belong solely to the individual. This will involve quantum computing prowess the world has not yet seen.

Founding LLM & AI Systems EngineerWe are looking for a founding AI engineer to work across LLM engineering, generative AI, model adaptation and AI systems development. This is a research-to-implementation role for someone who wants to work deeply with modern open-source AI models while also building the engineering infrastructure required to experiment with, serve and integrate those models.
Key responsibilitiesLLM & Generative AI — primary focus
- Work extensively with open-source LLMs and multimodal foundation models.
- Work with architectures and ecosystems such as Llama, Qwen, Mistral, Gemma, Hugging Face Transformers and PyTorch.
- Develop and evaluate RAG, retrieval, structured generation, tool use and agentic workflows.
- Work with embeddings, semantic search, vector databases and multimodal representations.
- Design model evaluation and benchmarking pipelines.
- Experiment with model architectures, prompting strategies, context handling and inference techniques.
- Integrate LLMs into larger AI systems rather than simply consuming commercial APIs.
Model creation & adaptation — secondary but important focus
- Fine-tune open-source models using LoRA, QLoRA, PEFT and related techniques.
- Prepare and curate training/fine-tuning datasets.
- Develop training and evaluation pipelines using PyTorch/Hugging Face.
- Conduct controlled experiments and ablation studies.
- Work with quantization and inference optimization.
- Investigate model behavior and determine when adaptation, fine-tuning or a different model is appropriate.
- Contribute to the development of specialized AI models where required.
AI Systems — approximately 30%
- Build Python-based services and AI inference pipelines.
- Develop APIs and internal interfaces for AI/ML components, particularly using FastAPI.
- Deploy and serve models on GPU infrastructure.
- Work with vLLM or equivalent inference frameworks.
- Integrate PostgreSQL, vector databases and object storage into AI pipelines.
- Build reliable model execution and data-processing pipelines.
- Use Docker and, where required, Kubernetes for AI workloads.
- Optimize inference latency, throughput, GPU utilization and memory consumption.
- Implement logging, monitoring, testing and reproducible experimentation.

2. Scope & Compensation: The advisory scope and transition to a core team role will be formalised for investor presentation, featuring a balanced structure of fixed and equity-based compensation. All payments are subject to funding.
3. Eligibility & Transparency: Ideal for professionals with strong risk tolerance and long-term vision — motivated to co-create a pre-seed AGI venture from inception.
4. Future Roles: Full-time leadership roles will evolve organically from advisory positions once funding materialises and as the company’s vision, founder’s drive, team maturity, MVP realisation, and pre-seed equity–cost structure reach institutional readiness.
