Job Title: Assistant Manager – Food Court Operations

Job Summary The Assistant Manager – Food Court Operations is responsible for the smooth day-to-day operations of the food court, ensuring high standards of customer service, hygiene, safety, and vendor coordination. The role involves supervising food court staff, supporting tenant outlets, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers.

Key Responsibilities

Food Court Operations

Oversee daily operations of the food court to ensure smooth functioning

Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards as per mall and statutory guidelines

Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed

Vendor &

- Tenant Coordination

Act as the point of contact for all food court tenants

Coordinate with vendors on operational issues, maintenance, and compliance

Ensure tenants adhere to mall policies, FSSAI norms, and brand standards

Customer Experience Management

Address customer complaints and escalations promptly and professionally

Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and service quality

Monitor footfall, peak-hour management, and queue handling

Team Supervision

Supervise housekeeping, security,



and food court support staff

Assist in staff scheduling, duty rosters, and performance monitoring

Conduct regular briefings and on-floor supervision

Safety, Compliance &

- Hygiene

Ensure compliance with FSSAI, fire safety, and health & safety regulations

Conduct regular audits and inspections of food court areas

Coordinate with facility and security teams for incident management

Reporting &

- Coordination

Prepare daily operational reports and MIS

Share feedback and improvement suggestions with mall management

Support mall events, promotions, and special activities in the food court area

Skills &

Robust operations and floor management skills

Good communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to handle multiple vendors and stakeholders

Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and mall operations

Eligibility Criteria

Graduate in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Retail Management, or related field

3–6 years of experience in Food Court / F&B; Operations / Mall Operations / Hospitality

Experience in shopping malls or large QSR/food court setups preferred

Willingness to work in shifts and on weekends
