Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Firmware Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in embedded firmware development. The ideal candidate should have practical experience with Embedded
C, Zephyr RTOS, Nordic Semiconductor nRF-series microcontrollers, nRF Connect SDK, Bluetooth Low
Energy (BLE), and embedded communication protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and debug embedded firmware using C and Zephyr RTOS.
- Work with Nordic nRF52/nRF53 or similar ARM Cortex-M MCUs.
- Develop and integrate BLE functionality.
- Work with UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO, ADC, timers, and sensors.
- Use nRF Connect SDK, DeviceTree, Kconfig, West, and CMake.
- Support hardware/firmware integration and debugging.
- Optimize firmware for performance, reliability, and low-power operation.
- Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews.
Required Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in Firmware/Embedded Development.
- Strong Embedded C programming skills.
- Hands-on experience with Zephyr RTOS.
- Experience with Nordic nRF52/nRF53 or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of BLE and embedded communication protocols.
- Understanding of ARM Cortex-M and MCU peripherals.
- Good firmware debugging and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Git.
Debugging & Development Tools
Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:
- J-Link
- SWD / JTAG
- GDB
- RTT
- Oscilloscope
- Logic
- Analyzer
- Protocol Analyzer
Good to Have
- Experience with MCUboot or firmware DFU/update mechanisms.
- Experience with secure firmware or embedded security concepts.
- Experience with FreeRTOS or another RTOS. Knowledge of C++.
- Experience working with sensors and power-management devices.
- Experience with embedded product development from bring-up through testing.
- Exposure to medical, wearable, IoT, or other battery-powered embedded products.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related discipline.
