Finance Manager

Reporting To: Finance Head / General Manager

Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, accounting, reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and financial controls. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Retail, Consumer Electronics, FMCG, or FMCD, with a proven ability to manage high-volume transactions, inventory, receivables, payables, and business profitability.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the overall Finance & Accounting function and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliations.
- Monitor daily cash flow, working capital, collections, payments, and liquidity requirements.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, financial plans, and variance analysis.
- Analyze sales, gross margins, operating expenses, profitability, and business performance.
- Monitor inventory valuation, stock movements, provisions, and inventory reconciliation, particularly for retail and trading operations.
- Ensure proper accounting of purchases, sales, discounts, rebates, returns, promotions, and supplier claims.
- Oversee credit control and receivables, including customer aging and collection follow-up.
- Manage supplier payments, vendor reconciliations, and payment schedules.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, accounting standards, and applicable statutory requirements.




- Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax consultants, and other external stakeholders.
- Establish and strengthen internal financial controls, processes, and approval procedures.
- Identify financial risks, control gaps, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Provide management with financial analysis, MIS reports, dashboards, and business insights for decision-making.
- Support management in evaluating new business opportunities, investments, pricing, and cost structures.
- Lead and supervise the Finance & Accounts team and ensure timely completion of accounting activities.
- Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Retail Operations, and HR to ensure proper financial controls.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Drive improvements in accounting systems, ERP processes, automation, and financial reporting.

Industry-Specific Experience Required Candidates should preferably have strong finance experience in one or more of the following:
- Retail
- Consumer Electronics
- FMCG
- FMCD
- Trading & Distribution
- Multi-branch / Multi-location businesses

Experience handling high-volume sales, inventory, dealer/distributor networks, retail outlets,



import/export transactions, and stock reconciliation will be an added advantage. Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as CA / ACCA / CMA is preferred.
- 7+ years of relevant Finance & Accounting experience, including 2+ years in a Finance Manager or similar managerial role.
- Solid UAE experience with knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, SAP Business One, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial analysis, and reporting.
