Urgent Opening for the position of Finance Manager- Solar company with Good salary

Location: Near Hopes, Coimbatore

Key Responsibilities

1. Finance & Accounting

- Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts and financial records.
- Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, receipts, and payments.
- Monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Ensure proper accounting of sales, purchases, inventory, fixed assets, and other transactions.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial information.

2. Financial Planning & Analysis

- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Monitor actual performance against budgets and identify variances.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial dashboards for management.
- Analyse profitability, revenue, expenses, working capital, and business performance.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decisions.

3. Cash Flow & Working Capital

- Monitor daily cash flow and fund requirements.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and ensure optimum utilisation of funds.
- Manage working capital, receivables, payables, and inventory.
- Follow up on outstanding receivables and support timely collections.
- Monitor credit limits and payment terms of customers and vendors.

4. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, PF, ESI and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Review GST returns, reconciliations, TDS filings, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and government authorities when required.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with applicable financial regulations.

Internal Controls & Audit

- Develop and maintain effective financial controls and accounting procedures.
- Identify financial risks, control gaps, and potential areas of leakage.
- Conduct periodic reviews of financial transactions and processes.
- Coordinate internal, statutory, tax, and other audits.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations.

6. Banking & Financial Operations

- Manage banking relationships and day-to-day banking activities.
- Handle bank reconciliation and monitor bank balances.
- Coordinate with banks for loans, overdrafts, guarantees, LC, and other financial facilities.
- Monitor interest costs, bank charges, and financing requirements.

7. Team Management

- Lead and supervise the Finance & Accounts team.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Review the work of accountants and finance executives.
- Provide guidance and training to the finance team.
- Establish clear processes and timelines for finance activities.

8. Management Reporting

- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Present key financial indicators and business performance to management.
- Provide reports on revenue, expenses, profitability, receivables, payables, cash flow, and working capital.
- Support management in financial decision-making and cost-control initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies





- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial management.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF and ESI.
- Strong financial analysis and MIS reporting skills.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience with Tally / ERP / Accounting Software.
- Budgeting and forecasting skills.
- Cash-flow and working-capital management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Good leadership and team-management skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Qualification

- CA / CMA / M.Com / MBA Finance / B.Com or equivalent qualification.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Experience in manufacturing, trading, solar, renewable energy, or a similar industry will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate

- Strong hands-on experience in finance and accounting operations.
- Ability to independently manage the Finance & Accounts function.
- Positive knowledge of statutory compliance and taxation.
- Strong experience in MIS, budgeting, cash flow, and financial reporting.
- Ability to work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams.
