Role Description The Field Recruiter is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for sourcing, engaging, and hiring frontline and field staff to support Hala Mobility’s operations. Day-to-day activities include visiting designated locations, conducting candidate outreach, organizing and attending recruitment drives, and building relationships with local communities, training centers, and partner organizations.

The role involves screening candidates, conducting initial interviews, coordinating assessments, and supporting onboarding activities to ensure smooth deployment of current hires.

The Field

Recruiter will collaborate closely with HR and operations teams to understand staffing needs, maintain accurate recruitment records,



and meet hiring targets while representing Hala Mobility’s values and mission in every interaction.

Qualifications

- Experience in field recruitment, talent sourcing, or direct hiring for frontline roles, preferably in mobility, logistics, or similar operational environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse candidate pools and build local networks and partnerships.
- Proven organizational and time-management abilities, including handling multiple hiring requirements, maintaining records, and meeting recruitment timelines.
- Comfort with on-the-ground work, including site visits, recruitment drives, and interaction with candidates in wide-ranging settings across Mumbai.
- Basic proficiency with digital tools (email, spreadsheets, recruitment portals, messaging platforms) for tracking applications and coordinating interviews.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with HR, operations, and management teams.
- Prior experience in high-volume hiring or field sales is an advantage; familiarity with EV or mobility sectors is a plus.
- Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field is preferred.
