Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced, high-performing Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to cover our West Region. In this technical customer-facing role, you will be responsible for driving technical design-ins and design-wins, focusing primarily on the Automotive and Industrial segments, alongside other key market verticals aligned with Silergy’s product portfolio.

You will act as the technical bridge between our customers, sales team, and global R&D; engineers, providing system-level design support, troubleshooting, and product recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design-In & Design-Win Execution: Drive technical engagement with customers across the West region to secure Silergy analog and power management IC design wins in Automotive, Industrial, and targeted commercial applications.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide direct technical assistance, schematics/PCB layout reviews, bench testing, and system-level troubleshooting for customer applications.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong technical relationships with customer engineering teams, system architects, and technical decision-makers.
- Product Promotion & Training: Present Silergy’s product line, solution roadmaps, and technical advantages to potential and existing customers through workshops, seminars, and technical reviews.
- Market & Technical Intelligence: Gather customer requirement trends,



competitor analysis, and market insights from the West region to provide feedback to internal R&D; and Product Line Managers for future product definition.
- Collaborative Sales Drive: Partner closely with the Sales team and Distribution partners to identify new business opportunities and achieve revenue growth targets.

Qualifications & Key Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 4 to 8+ years of hands-on experience as an FAE, Hardware Design Engineer, or Application Engineer in the semiconductor industry.
- Segment Expertise: Deep domain knowledge in Automotive (EV/HEV, ADAS, BMS, Body Electronics, Lighting) and/or Industrial ( Renewable Energy, Motor Control, Power Supplies),Consumer, Telecom
- Technical Skills:
- Robust expertise in Analog & Power Management ICs (DC/DC converters, LDOs, Gate Drivers, PMICs, Battery Management, Sensor Interfaces, etc.).
- Hands-on skills with PCB design, schematic capture, circuit simulation, and laboratory testing equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads).
- Knowledge of Automotive functional safety standards (ISO 26262) and AEC-Q qualifications is a strong plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent technical communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel within the West region as required for customer visits and technical workshops.
