nSenior Fashion Designer & Textile Surface Development Lead

nnLocal2Global Mart Private Limited invites applications for a Senior Fashion Designer & Textile Surface Development Lead for its women-led garment manufacturing project at Naya Gaon, Phalodi District, Rajasthan.

nnAfter two years of dedicated groundwork, we have established a rural manufacturing facility to create sustainable livelihood opportunities for women and connect their products with national and international markets.

nnWe seek an experienced, creative and socially committed professional with expertise in fashion design, hand embroidery, textile printing, surface ornamentation and commercial product development.

nnPosition Details

nnLocation: Naya Gaon, Phalodi District, Rajasthan

nEmployment: Full-Time, Project-Based

nWork Mode: In office/Field-Based

nnKey Responsibilities

nDevelop commercially viable garment and lifestyle collections

nDesign uniforms, sportswear, customized apparel, bags and merchandise

nCombine contemporary fashion with traditional hand embroidery

nDevelop embroidery motifs, print layouts, colours and surface designs

nWork with screen, block, sublimation, DTF and digital printing

nPrepare sketches, tech packs, measurements and production guidelines

nSelect appropriate fabrics, threads, trims and embellishments

nDevelop samples for institutional, B2B, domestic and export markets

nTrain rural women in embroidery, stitching, finishing and quality

nStandardize sampling, sizing,



printing and production processes

nCoordinate with production, merchandising and quality teams

nEnsure commercial viability, quality and timely delivery

nCandidate Profile

nDegree/diploma in Fashion, Textile or Apparel Design

nRelevant garment, textile or handicraft industry experience

nStrong knowledge of embroidery, printing and surface ornamentation

nUnderstanding of fabrics, patterns, construction and production

nKnowledge of screen printing, sublimation, DTF, digital or block printing

nProficiency in CorelDRAW, Illustrator, Photoshop or similar software

nExperience in sampling, costing and production coordination

nAbility to train and mentor rural women artisans

nWillingness to work at the Phalodi project location

nExperience in uniforms, sportswear, bags or export products is preferred
