Position: Consultant - Family Medicine

Roles & Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care for patients across all age groups.
- Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Assess, stabilize & manage medical emergencies with appropriate referrals.
- Conduct detailed clinical assessments and review laboratory and imaging investigations.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment and follow-up plans.
- Provide preventive healthcare, health screening, lifestyle counselling and patient education.
- Coordinate with specialists and multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in clinical rounds, case discussions and continuing medical education activities.
- Maintain accurate medical records,



clinical documentation and discharge summaries.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, patient safety standards and infection-control practices.
- Participate in medical camps, community outreach and health awareness programmes as required.
- Maintain qualified, ethical and compassionate communication with patients and their families.

Qualifications

- MD/DNB in Family Medicine
- TNMC registration as required by applicable regulations.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience
- Remuneration as per norms
