Job Type: Full Time** Job Responsibilities We are looking for an experienced Export Merchandiser to handle international buyers and export orders from enquiry to shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle communication with international buyers through email and WhatsApp
- Understand buyer enquiries, specifications and requirements
- Prepare quotations, costing sheets and Proforma Invoices
- Coordinate development of new designs, samples and colourways
- Follow up on sample development and buyer approvals
- Process and monitor export orders from confirmation to shipment
- Coordinate with Production, Yarn, Weaving, Finishing, QC, Packing and Shipping teams
- Prepare and maintain order sheets and production follow-up reports
- Monitor delivery schedules and ensure orders are progressing as per committed dates
- Proactively identify possible delays and report them to management
- Keep buyers regularly updated regarding samples, production and shipments
- Coordinate buyer requirements for labels, barcodes, packaging and product specifications
- Maintain proper records of buyer correspondence,
approvals and order changes
- Coordinate inspections, testing and quality requirements
- Assist with export documentation and shipment coordination
- Follow up on pending payments and commercial matters when required
- Coordinate with management for pricing, claims and important buyer issues
Candidate Requirements
- Graduate with good written and spoken English
- Robust email communication skills
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- Good follow-up and coordination skills
- Able to handle multiple international buyers and orders simultaneously
- Knowledge of export documentation and shipment procedures preferred
- Experience in rugs, carpets, home textiles or textile exports will be strongly preferred
Preferred Experience: 2–5 years in Export Merchandising / Export House / Textile Manufacturing Important: This is a buyer-handling and order-management position. The candidate should be capable of independently following an export order from initial enquiry and sampling through production, packing and final shipment.
