EV Technician Job Summary The EV Technician is responsible for inspection, maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and servicing of electric two-wheelers while ensuring fleet readiness, safety, and operational efficiency. Key ResponsibilitiesVehicle Maintenance & Repairs· Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and servicing of electric two-wheelers. Diagnose and repair electrical, battery, and mechanical faults.

Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and comply with safety standards before deployment. Minimise vehicle downtime through timely repairs.

Battery

Management· Monitor battery health, charging cycles, and battery swapping operations. Identify battery degradation or faults and recommend corrective actions. Ensure protected handling, charging, storage, and disposal of EV batteries.

Operational





Support · Provide technical support for on-road breakdowns and field service requirements. · Assist the fleet team in ensuring vehicle readiness before rider handover. · Maintain maintenance logs and service history. Reporting & Documentation · Maintain records of repairs, spare parts consumption, and scheduled maintenance. · Report recurring technical issues to management. · Recommend process improvements to enhance fleet reliability and reduce downtime. Training & Customer Support · Educate riders on basic EV operation, charging, and troubleshooting. · Train junior technicians on SOPs and safety practices. · Provide technical assistance for customer complaints related to vehicle performance.
