Role Purpose:

Responsible for ensuring workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and sustainability (ESG) across all JU Agrisciences & Tropical Agrosystems pvt Ltd locations to drive value creation and brand enhancement. This dual role combines occupational health & safety management with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) coordination, aligning the companys agrochemical manufacturing practices with global standards and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities

ESG Coordination

- Support in formalising ESG governance structure, develop and adopt a standalone Sustainability Policy and ESG Roadmap, Benchmark ESG performance against industry peers and recommend improvements.
- Conduct stakeholder-led ESG materiality assessment; develop materiality matrix.
- Develop, Monitor, and analyse key sustainability KPIs/Goals including energy, water, and waste and review on monthly/quarterly basis. Identify Gaps & recommend corrective actions.
- Support the preparation of monthly/ quarterly/ annual report presentations for the Board of Directors, investors, Risk & Sustainability Committee, and other leadership forums by closely collaborating with internal stakeholders & align reporting with relevant frameworks.
- Support the preparation of Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely submission of responses to ESG rating agencies and disclosure platforms.

strategic initiatives and continuous improvement in sustainability data management systems and processes. EHS & Compliance

- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, SOPs, PPE compliances and emergency response plans.
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident investigations.
- Ensure compliance with Factories Act, OSHA, and local environmental regulations.
- Lead safety training programs for employees and contractors.
- Oversee chemical handling, storage, and disposal protocols specific to agrochemicals.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies during audits and inspections.

Qualifications

- Bachelors/masters in environmental science, Chemical Engineering, Occupational Safety, or Sustainability Management.
- Certifications preferred: NEBOSH, ISO 14001/45001 Lead Auditor, GRI Standards Training, EHS, PG diploma safety management, chemical engineering (if relevant)
- 58 years of experience in manufacturing safety and/or ESG reporting, preferably in agrochemicals or chemicals sector.
