Job Summary :

We are looking for an Oracle PL/SQL Developer with complementary Java experience to develop, enhance and support database-driven enterprise applications. The role will focus on writing efficient SQL and PL/SQL programs, building procedures, packages and functions, supporting data-processing logic and troubleshooting application-to-database issues.

The candidate should be comfortable analysing complex data, optimizing queries and collaborating with Java/application teams during development and production support.

Good development discipline, debugging ability and understanding of transaction-oriented enterprise systems are key. Java knowledge is expected to help the developer work effectively across database and application layers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code, including procedures, packages, functions and triggers.
- Analyse requirements and implement database logic for application workflows and integrations.
- Tune SQL/PLSQL performance and troubleshoot data,



batch and application-database issues.
- Collaborate with Java developers, QA and production support teams during releases and defect resolution.
- Prepare technical documentation and follow coding, review and change-management standards.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 3 - 5 years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
- Strong SQL, PL/SQL, stored program unit and database debugging skills.
- Working knowledge of Java and ability to understand application-to-database interactions.
- Experience with query optimization, data validation and production issue analysis.
- Good understanding of SDLC and version-controlled development practices.

Preferred / Added Advantage :

- Banking or transaction-processing application experience.
- Exposure to Oracle performance tools, batch processing or integration frameworks.
