WE ARE HIRING | ELECTRODE TESTING WELDER

INFRAFUSION ENGINEERING LIMITED is expanding its technical team and is looking for an experienced Electrode Testing Welder / Welding Technician to join our organization.

This position is specifically focused on the testing, evaluation and approval of welding electrodes and welding consumables.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct practical welding trials and performance testing of welding electrodes

Evaluate electrode performance, arc stability, bead appearance, penetration and overall weld quality

Perform SMAW / Manual Metal Arc Welding tests and trials

Conduct MIG/MAG welding trials wherever required

Maintain accurate records of welding parameters and test results

Identify welding defects and assist in corrective actions

Prepare electrode testing reports and technical documentation

Assist in preparation of WPS, PQR and welding qualification documents

Support electrode approval, qualification and certification processes

Work closely with the R&D;, Quality Control and Production teams

CANDIDATE PROFILE





Hands-on experience specifically in welding electrode testing

Strong practical experience in SMAW / Manual Metal Arc Welding

Good knowledge of welding parameters, electrode performance and weld defects

Experience in a welding electrode / welding consumables manufacturing company will be highly preferred

Knowledge of BIS, AWS or other applicable welding standards will be an advantage

ITI / Diploma in Welding or relevant technical qualification preferred

- Candidates with robust practical welding testing experience are encouraged to apply
