Role Description The Electrical Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Burdwan-I, responsible for managing and supervising all electrical engineering activities on the project. This position oversees electrical design reviews, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations.

The Electrical

Manager coordinates with project management, civil, mechanical, and procurement teams for power distribution requirements, equipment selection,



and integration with overall project plans. Day-to-day tasks include planning preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical issues, monitoring contractors’ work, verifying adherence to electrical codes and standards, and preparing technical reports and documentation. The role also involves mentoring electrical staff, enforcing safety practices, and supporting timely project delivery within quality, cost, and schedule parameters.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with a solid understanding of industrial and infrastructure power systems.
- Candidates should possess experience in Electrical Design and Power Distribution, including layout planning, load calculations, and selection of electrical equipment.
- Candidates should possess practical expertise in Electrical Maintenance, covering preventive and corrective maintenance of switchgear, transformers, motors, lighting, and control systems.
- Relevant academic qualification such as a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; advanced certifications in electrical safety, project management, or energy systems are an advantage.
- Experience in large infrastructure or EPC projects, familiarity with national and international electrical standards, and proven ability to lead on-site teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced project setting and uphold high standards of safety and compliance.
