Electrical AutoCAD Designer 1-2 Year Experience

Job Title: Electrical AutoCAD Designer / Electrical Draftsman

Experience: 1-2 Years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering

Job Responsibilities

- Prepare and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD 2D / AutoCAD Electrical.
- Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams.
- Prepare control panel layouts, GA drawings and equipment layouts.
- Prepare cable routing, cable tray and termination drawings.
- Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) from electrical drawings.
- Read and understand electrical schematics and engineering specifications.
- Coordinate with Electrical Engineers, Production and Site teams for drawing requirements and modifications.
- Update drawings based on design changes and maintain proper revision control.




- Prepare as-built drawings wherever required.
- Ensure drawings follow project specifications and applicable electrical standards.
- Maintain drawing files and project documentation.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D / AutoCAD Electrical.
- Understanding of electrical circuits, panels and wiring.
- Knowledge of MCB, MCCB, contactor, relay, VFD, PLC, sensors, cables and terminals.
- Ability to prepare SLD, GA, wiring and panel drawings.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Positive attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
