 Knowledge on ISO 14001/45001 standard and maintenance of documents as per the requirements in the plant.

 Assist shop team to fulfil documentation requirement as per ISO

14001/45001 & carry out internal audits. Knowledge on Aspect impact and

HIRA identification.

 Knowledge on liaison with government bodies in the state for applicable requirements.

 Knowledge on legal requirements such as Factories rules, PCB requirements, PESO, Fire NoC etc as per the state requirements.

 Knowledge on IS on safety, machine audits, safety audits, patrolling for highlighting unsafe acts and conditions in the plant & updating respective shop managers/plant head.

 Maintain a system for recording, reporting, and investigating injuries,

accidents, and dangerous occurrences & Environmental incidents.

 Knowledge on Work permit system and related requirements for plant activities.

 Conducting mock drills on periodic basis, assist in emergency planning, fire preventive measures, firefighting adequacy & necessary trainings.

 Monthly document preparation for safety and sustainability management review.

 Knowledge on ensuring treatment parameters in STP/ETP, hazardous waste disposal as per requirement.

 Carrying out monthly monitoring of Ambient air, noise,



water, STP/ETP treated water, soil, indoor air monitoring and ensuring the results are within the limits & report abnormality.

 Ensure lifting tools and tackles, pressure vessel is tested on periodic basis.

 Ensuring healthiness of fire extinguishers on monthly/quarterly basis by third party, fire hydrant system & fire alarm system working condition.

 Ensuring health check of employees on periodic basis as per the factory rule.

 Knowledge on energy, water, waste, fuel consumption reduction and co-

ordinate for collection of Workplace data from respective stakeholders and report.

 Assist shop supervisors for safety & environment improvements in respective processes.

 Periodic audits, reporting, and follow-up for closures with respective owners.

Requirements

Qualification Dipoma/BE with 8 - 10 years of experience in any manufacturing industries,

preferably in mechanical / automobile industry.

Key Metrics:  Safety – Zero accidents and 100% adherence to PPEs.

 Zero non-compliance on statutory requirements

 Identify and address unsafe actions/conditions continually as per targets month on month
