Role & responsibilities

- Robust knowledge of CNC Wire-Cut EDM operation and setup.

- Knowledge of Wire-Cut EDM programming and program loading.

- Understanding of X-Y-U-V axis movement and taper cutting.

- Knowledge of rough cut and skim/finish cut operations.

- Ability to understand and set machine offsets and compensation.

- Knowledge of workpiece alignment and datum setting.

- Understanding of EDM machining parameters and flushing requirements.

- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand dimensional tolerances.

- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments.

- Basic knowledge of GD&T; will be an advantage.

- Basic CNC troubleshooting knowledge.
