Role & responsibilities

1. E-Commerce Strategy & Revenue Planning

- Develop and execute the company's overall e-commerce strategy, building the online revenue channel for B2C

customers.
- Develop category-wise growth strategies for DIY/STEM/robotics/science kits, coding products, online

courses, course bundles, subscriptions, learning resources and merchandise.
- Identify recent online revenue opportunities and develop category-wise growth plans.
- Establish monthly, quarterly and annual online revenue targets.
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, Technology, Warehouse, Finance, Customer Support and

Operations to achieve revenue, profitability and customer-satisfaction targets. Expected Outcome: A clear, category-wise online revenue strategy with defined growth targets across every digital product line.
1. Website, Platform & Product Catalogue Management

- Manage the company's e-commerce website/store, ensuring product catalogue management, categorization,

descriptions, images/videos, pricing, discounts and bundles are accurate and current.
- Own product-page content that communicates both educational value and commercial value specifications,

age/category classification, learning outcomes, manuals, FAQs and warranty information.
- Continuously improve site navigation, search, landing pages, checkout, payment experience and mobile

optimization.
- Ensure inventory visibility and availability status are accurately reflected across the storefront.

1. Online Course Commerce & Marketplace Management

- Manage the complete commercial journey for online courses — listing, pricing, bundles, discounts, coupons,

subscription plans, trials, upselling, cross-selling and renewal campaigns.
- Work with Academic/Product teams to improve course packaging and monetization.
- Manage the company's presence on relevant marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, educational and STEM

marketplaces) — listings, catalogue optimization, marketplace SEO, pricing, promotions, advertising, reviews and seller performance.
- Monitor marketplace analytics and optimize inventory and ratings across channels.

Expected Outcome: A monetized course commerce engine and well-optimized marketplace presence driving incremental revenue.
1. Conversion Rate Optimization & Performance Marketing Coordination

- Continuously improve conversion across product-page conversion, add-to-cart rate, checkout conversion, cart

abandonment and average order value.




- Run structured A/B testing on product pages, headlines, images, pricing, offers, CTAs, bundles, checkout and

landing pages.
- Work closely with the CMO and Digital Marketing team on Google Ads, Meta, YouTube, search, display,

retargeting, affiliate, influencer, email, WhatsApp and SMS channels.
- Develop campaigns specifically designed to drive online transactions, not just leads.

Expected Outcome: A continuously optimized funnel with rising conversion rates and transaction-focused campaign performance.
1. Promotions, CRM & Customer Retention

- Plan and execute product launches, seasonal/festival campaigns, back-to-school, exam and STEM campaigns,

flash sales, bundle offers and subscription offers via an annual promotional calendar.
- Implement cart- and browse-abandonment campaigns, reorder campaigns, cross-selling, upselling, product

recommendations and loyalty/referral programs.
- Build customer journeys that move buyers from first purchase through product usage, next-product

recommendation, advanced kits, courses and subscriptions.
- Increase repeat purchases and customer lifetime value through data-driven CRM programs.

Expected Outcome: A structured promotional calendar and CRM engine that steadily grows repeat purchase rate and CLV.
1. Analytics, Pricing & Revenue Optimization

- Own the e-commerce dashboard, tracking revenue, customer, conversion and marketing metrics, and provide

regular reports to senior management.
- Work with the CMO, Product and Finance teams on product pricing, promotional pricing, discount strategy,

bundle and subscription pricing, and margin optimization.
- Ensure promotions increase profitable revenue rather than merely increasing sales volume.
- Track revenue by product, category, channel and geography to guide commercial decisions.

Expected Outcome: Data-backed pricing and promotional decisions that protect margin while growing revenue.
1. Inventory, Fulfilment & Order Management

- Work closely with Supply Chain/Warehouse/Operations on inventory monitoring, stock availability, out-of-

stock management, demand planning and replenishment.
- Ensure marketing campaigns are aligned with available inventory to avoid overselling.

- Coordinate with operations to minimize order delays, cancellations, failed deliveries, damaged products and

refund delays. Expected Outcome: Reliable product availability and a smooth, low-friction order-to-delivery experience.
1. Customer Experience, Reviews & Reputation

- Own the online customer experience in collaboration with Customer Support — monitoring complaints,

returns, refunds, delivery and payment issues.
- Identify recurring issues and work with internal teams to resolve root causes.
- Develop programs to increase product/course reviews, ratings, testimonials and user-generated content, using

positive customer experiences to strengthen conversion.
- Monitor competitor pricing, offers, bundles, reviews and marketplace rankings, and recommend market

opportunities to management. Expected Outcome: A trusted, well-reviewed storefront where customer issues are resolved at the root cause.
1. SEO, Content, Affiliate & Influencer Commerce

- Work with SEO and Content teams on product SEO, category SEO, buying guides, STEM activity content,

comparison content and how-to content to build organic educational search intent.
- Develop revenue-oriented partnerships with education influencers, STEM creators, teachers, parent

communities and affiliate partners, with trackable programs and commission structures.
- Ensure accurate data flow across Website Payment CRM ERP Inventory Shipping

Customer through close coordination with Technology teams. Expected Outcome: Growing organic traffic and a productive affiliate/influencer channel contributing measurable revenue.
1. Team, Vendor Management & Cross-Selling

- Build and manage the e-commerce team — Catalogue Managers, Marketplace Managers, Performance

Marketing Specialists, CRM Specialists, Content Specialists and Analytics roles — along with external agencies/vendors.
- Manage relationships with e-commerce platform providers, marketplace partners, payment gateways,

logistics/fulfilment partners and technology vendors, monitoring commercial performance and SLAs.
- Build product ecosystems (e.g., basic kit advanced kit robotics kit course certification) that

increase customer lifetime value through intelligent cross-selling and upselling.
- Enable B2C growth strategies tailored to students, parents and, where applicable, schools/teachers ordering

online.
