Role Description The Duty Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Puducherry, responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations during assigned shifts. This role includes supervising front office activities, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments, and ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes.

The Duty

Manager handles guest queries and complaints, supports resolution of service issues, and ensures that hotel policies and standards are consistently maintained. The role also involves monitoring staff performance, maintaining safety and security protocols, managing basic administrative tasks and reports,



and supporting overall guest satisfaction and revenue objectives.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in hotel or hospitality operations, preferably in a supervisory or duty manager capacity.
- Strong customer service and guest relations skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including shift coordination and basic administrative work.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and other teams.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure, manage unexpected situations, and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of hotel procedures, safety and security practices, and basic reservation or property management systems.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays, and a solid commitment to maintaining high service standards.
