DRIVER - i'Deli Cafe

We are looking for a reliable, responsible, and professional Driver to support the daily operations of i'Deli Cafe by ensuring the secure, timely, and efficient transportation of documents, packages, food items, supplies, and other company materials between the outlet, office, suppliers, and other designated locations.

The role requires excellent driving skills, punctuality, responsibility, good communication, and a strong understanding of road safety and vehicle care.

Delivery & Transportation

- Safely transport company documents, parcels, food items, supplies, equipment, and other materials as assigned.
- Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed accurately and within the required time.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules efficiently.
- Handle company items carefully during loading, transportation, and delivery.
- Obtain necessary signatures, receipts, or delivery confirmations when required.

Vehicle Management
- Maintain the assigned vehicle in clean, safe, and roadworthy condition.
- Conduct basic daily checks of fuel, tyres, brakes, lights, oil, and other essential vehicle functions.
- Report any vehicle defects, damage, or maintenance requirements immediately.
- Ensure the vehicle is serviced and maintained according to company requirements.
- Maintain proper records of vehicle usage, fuel, mileage, and maintenance.

Safety & Compliance
- Follow all traffic rules, road-safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Drive responsibly and professionally at all times.




- Never operate the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or any prohibited substance.
- Ensure proper handling and secure transportation of company materials.
- Maintain valid driving licence and required vehicle documents at all times.

Time Management
- Report for duty on time and remain available according to the assigned schedule.
- Plan routes effectively to ensure timely completion of deliveries and collections.
- Coordinate with the restaurant, office, suppliers, and management regarding delivery schedules.
- Communicate immediately in case of delays, traffic issues, breakdowns, or other unexpected situations.

Support to Restaurant Operations
- Collect and deliver food ingredients, packaging materials, beverages, cleaning supplies, documents, and other operational requirements.
- Support stock transfers between outlets when required.
- Assist with supplier collections and company errands.
- Support the management team with transportation-related requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling company documents or sensitive materials.

Professional Conduct
- Represent i'Deli Cafe professionally while dealing with customers, suppliers, vendors, staff, and other external parties.
- Maintain good grooming, personal hygiene,



and professional behaviour.
- Communicate politely and respectfully at all times.
- Demonstrate honesty, reliability, discipline, and responsibility.
- Follow instructions from management and complete assigned duties efficiently.

Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle-related expenses.
- Submit delivery receipts and relevant documents to the concerned department.
- Report any missing, damaged, or incorrect items immediately.
- Inform management about any accident, traffic violation, vehicle issue, or other incident without delay.

Experience

- 2–5 years of professional driving experience preferred.
- Previous experience as a company driver, delivery driver, restaurant driver, hospitality driver, or similar role is an advantage.
- Experience working with restaurants, cafés, hotels, catering companies, or other hospitality businesses will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with delivery operations and supplier collections is preferred.

Education

- Minimum SSLC / 10th standard preferred.
- Valid driving licence is mandatory.
- Relevant professional driving experience will also be considered.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
