About the Role The Rising India School of Excellence (RISE) is looking for a passionate and creative Drama Teacher who can inspire students through theatre, storytelling, and performance arts. The ideal candidate should be able to build students' confidence, communication skills, creativity, and stage presence while creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct drama and theatre sessions for students across different grade levels.

- Teach acting techniques, voice modulation, movement, improvisation, and stage etiquette.

- Organize rehearsals, school plays, annual day performances, and other cultural events.

- Encourage creativity, teamwork, and self-expression through interactive activities.

- Develop age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the school's learning objectives.

- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.





- Collaborate with teachers and school leadership for interdisciplinary events and performances.

- Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts, Theatre, Drama, or a related field.

- Prior experience teaching drama in a school or conducting theatre workshops is preferred.

- Robust communication and classroom management skills.

- Ability to engage students through creative and experiential learning methods.

- Confidence in directing stage performances and managing rehearsals.

Preferred Skills

- Scriptwriting and storytelling.

- Choreographing stage movements.

- Voice and speech training.

- Event planning and performance coordination.

- Creativity, patience, and enthusiasm for working with children.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
