Role Description The District Coordinator is a full-time, hybrid role based in Jhalawar, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The individual will coordinate district-level implementation of Wadhwani AI programs, working closely with local government officials, partner organizations, and community stakeholders to ensure effective rollout of AI-enabled solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and monitoring field activities, collecting and validating data, facilitating training and orientation sessions for local users, and troubleshooting operational challenges.
The role involves regular reporting on program progress, documenting lessons learned, providing feedback to central teams for product and process improvements,
and ensuring that ethical and responsible use of technology is maintained at the last mile.
The District
Coordinator will also support awareness-building efforts, promote adoption of solutions among communities, and collaborate with internal teams to align field execution with broader program objectives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong coordination and project management skills, including planning, organizing, stakeholder engagement, and basic monitoring and evaluation.
- Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, such as clear verbal and written communication, facilitation of meetings or trainings, and the ability to build trust with diverse community and government stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess basic data and technology skills, including comfort with digital tools (smartphones, tablets, web applications), data collection and documentation, and the ability to learn and explain AI-enabled solutions to users.
- Candidates should possess field operations and problem-solving skills, including experience working at the district or community level, handling on-ground challenges, and adapting plans based on local realities.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public policy, rural development, agriculture, public health, or a related field; prior experience in government or NGO programs; proficiency in local languages and Hindi; and a solid commitment to social impact and ethical use of technology.
