About the role
Develop practical quality-engineering skills in a manufacturing workplace. You will support inspection, measurement, process control and production-part approval activities.
What you will do
- Carry out incoming, in-process and final inspections.
- Measure moulded parts using suitable gauges and instruments.
- Record inspection results and report non-conformances.
- Support Statistical Process Control (SPC) monitoring.
- Assist with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation.
- Follow quality-system procedures aligned with IATF 16949.
- Use tools such as CMMs, profile projectors and moisture analysers under supervision.
- Coordinate with production and tool-room teams on quality issues.
- Support corrective action, traceability and calibration controls.
You may be a good fit if you
- Hold a diploma in engineering; an engineering degree is preferred.
- Have about one year of relevant quality or manufacturing experience.
- Understand basic engineering drawings and measurement methods.
- Work carefully and maintain accurate records.
- Want to build a career in manufacturing quality.
