About the RoleWe are looking for a Digital Marketing Intern who is interested in building hands-on experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Social Media Optimization (SMO).

You will work closely with our marketing team to improve our online visibility, grow organic traffic, create and optimize social media content, and support ongoing digital marketing initiatives.

This is a hands-on role where you will get practical exposure to SEO, content marketing, social media, keyword research, analytics, and website optimization.

Key ResponsibilitiesSEO

- Conduct keyword research and identify relevant search opportunities.
- Assist with on-page SEO, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, internal linking, and content optimization.
- Optimize website pages and blog content for search engines.
- Assist with off-page SEO and link-building activities.
- Research competitors and analyze their SEO strategies.
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and other SEO performance metrics.
- Identify basic technical SEO issues and coordinate with the team for improvements.
- Assist in creating SEO-friendly blogs and website content.
- Keep track of current SEO trends and Google algorithm updates.

Social Media Optimization (SMO)
- Manage and optimize social media profiles across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X.
- Research trending topics, hashtags, keywords, and content ideas.
- Assist in planning and maintaining social media content calendars.
- Create and optimize captions, posts, and other social media content.
- Monitor engagement, reach, impressions, and follower growth.
- Research competitors and industry trends to identify content opportunities.




- Assist in improving organic social media reach and engagement.
- Repurpose website/blog content into social media posts.

Analytics & Reporting
- Track website and social media performance.
- Assist with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and social media analytics.
- Prepare basic weekly/monthly performance reports.
- Analyze data and suggest improvements based on performance.

Requirements
- Basic understanding of SEO and social media marketing.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of keyword research and content optimization.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and current trends.
- Basic understanding of Google Search Console and Google Analytics is a plus.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn and experiment with new digital marketing strategies.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Valuable to Have
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest.
- Basic knowledge of WordPress.
- Basic understanding of Canva or other content creation tools.
- Experience managing a personal, college, or business social media account.
- Basic understanding of AI tools for content research and ideation.
