We are looking for an experienced Diamond & Polki Grader to assess, grade and inspect diamonds, Polki stones and jewellery based on quality, authenticity and industry standards.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Grade diamonds based on the 4Cs – Cut, Colour, Clarity & Carat Weight
- Inspect inclusions, blemishes, symmetry, proportions and overall quality
- Evaluate Polki stones for colour, clarity, shape, size and appearance
- Identify natural, treated and potentially synthetic/lab-grown stones
- Inspect jewellery for quality, consistency and defects
- Measure and accurately record stone specifications
- Maintain grading reports and quality documentation
- Coordinate with production, manufacturing, purchase and QC teams
- Support final inspection of finished jewellery
Required Skills
- Robust diamond grading & identification knowledge
- Good understanding of Polki diamonds and traditional Polki jewellery
- Knowledge of diamond shapes, cuts, colours, clarity and treatments
- Excellent observation, analytical skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of jewellery terminology
- Basic computer skills and good communication
