Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Die Fitter, based in Ludhiana, Punjab. The Die Fitter will be responsible for fitting, assembling, finishing, and maintaining dies used in blanking operations for sheet metal.

The role involves working on recent die development in coordination with EDM operators, wire cut operators, and design teams. The candidate will ensure high accuracy in die fitting, proper alignment of components, and smooth functioning during production. Responsibilities also include conducting trial runs, making adjustments, and maintaining dies to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities





- Perform die fitting and assembly for blanking operations
- Work on 0.40 mm sheet metal dies with high precision
- Finish dies ensuring accuracy and surface quality
- Assemble die components (punches, die blocks, guide pillars, plates)
- Support new die development with EDM and wire cut processes
- Coordinate with design/graphic team for drawings and layouts
- Conduct trials and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain and repair dies to ensure continuous production
- Use measuring tools to maintain required tolerances
- Ensure workplace cleanliness and follow safety standards

Qualifications & Skills

- ITI / Diploma in Fitter, Tool & Die Making, or related field
- Experience in die fitting, blanking, and sheet metal work
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Strong focus on accuracy and detail
- Good problem-solving skills

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
