Role Description The DevOps Engineer having 2-4 years of experience will work full time on-site at the Mumbai office, contributing to the reliability, scalability, and security of Billoxy’s cloud-based platform. This role involves designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, implementing infrastructure as code, and managing Linux-based systems to ensure high availability and performance. The DevOps Engineer will collaborate closely with software development teams to streamline releases, automate deployment workflows,



and monitor application health.

Day-to-day activities include managing cloud infrastructure, optimizing build and deployment processes, handling system administration tasks, and improving observability through logging, metrics, and alerts. The role also includes participating in incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement of DevOps practices and tools.

Qualifications

- Solid system administration skills with hands-on experience in Linux environments.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
- Experience with Continuous Integration and deployment pipelines using modern CI/CD tools.
- Background in Software Development, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization/orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to maintain system reliability.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and performance optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
